Kitchens "Thoughts" for 2013

Good design principles are timeless. I wrote this 3 years ago today, and I still stand by every single word.

It’s been almost 7 months since I left the kitchen industry.. so to speak.
I still get all the trade e-mails and industry magazines, and one of these days I’ll make it to an NKBA meeting.  {I swear, I will!}

I don’t consider myself an “expert” on kitchens, per se, but I think I generally know what I’m talking about.  I’ve helped tons of people remodel their kitchens and I love doing it.  I can’t claim to predict the future or what will be popular in kitchens this year.  I can, however offer my $.02 on what you should think about if you’re planning a kitchen remodel.  Here are my top 5 kitchen tips for 2013:

1.) White cabinets aren’t going anywhere. They’re still showing up in pictures and ideabooks all over as THE color to use on cabinets.  

Granted, white is not for everyone {smokers, for example}… but…
