Happy New Year
2016 is officially under way, and so is the kitchen ‘season!’

2015 was an incredible year. I met Scott McGillivray and attended KBIS with my husband in January, designed lots of kitchens and bathrooms, a couple additions, new homes, a couple closets, living rooms, and a bedroom or two thrown in there for fun. I had a BLAST.

Here’s a quick look back on my 2015:

I’m not exactly sure where 2015 ended and 2016 began.

I have been busy since Christmas with designs and am booking new appointments almost daily. As a working mom who is technically at home with her kids every day, it’s always a challenge to find the time to do the work and still make sure I’m carving out the quality time with my family, too. Not to mention that little thing called housework..

I am living my dream, so I find ways to make it happen. I have a very supportive family and network of friends and business acquaintances who are amazing. When I get super busy like this, my parents and in-laws, sister and close friends all tend to step up to the plate to give us a hand. I’m so fortunate.

So what am I working on right now?

Here is a glimpse of “Before” pictures of my most recent jobs:

As you can see from these pictures, every day looks different for me!

It’s not only my clients who are already seeing changes happen in the new year. This week, I added a second cabinet company to what I consider to be my ‘arsenal’ of resources. Not only did I get to meet a great couple who recently dove into new ownership of a 20-year-old cabinet shop, but they asked me to join them in the adventure! I’m helping them design the showroom and will be able to use it as my own selling center. It’s been a dream of mine for many years to have my own kitchen & bath showroom in Lewistown, so this is right up my alley!  I’m SO EXCITED about this opportunity.

I hope you are all as happy to see the New Year as I am. I welcome each year as a chance to start fresh. Whether it’s a new career, relationship, move, etc. or just small changes to your home or personal life.. I wish you all the very best for 2016!
