What’s a good party without a signature drink?
For Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any gathering in general, drinks are just about as important as the food on the table.
I know there are tons of recipes out there for party cocktails. I want a versatile drink I can use for any party, and it has to be something I can serve to everyone. And… as much as we may sometimes want to… it’s not really appropriate to be having cocktails at your child’s birthday party. 😉
If you know me, you know that I am always talking about keeping it simple. What’s simpler than a two-ingredient punch? My mother-in-law {former florist & party planner extraordinaire} shared this recipe for punch with me early on in our relationship. I use it for every party, and it’s ALWAYS a hit.
The Perfect Party/Holiday Punch

Here’s what you need:
- Schweppes Raspberry Ginger Ale – This is becoming harder & harder to find, so I stock up when I see it. You should be able to find it in most grocery stores.. especially around the holidays.
{Do not.. I repeat: DO NOT substitute anything cranberry. It’s not the same.} - Welch’s White Grape Peach – Again, this is tricky to find sometimes. I like the refrigerated juice. If you’d like, you could also use the frozen cans of juice.
The ratio of ginger ale to juice is 1:1.If you don’t have the time to make this and chill it before your party, a bag of frozen peaches will act as ice cubes and add a nice touch. If you’re having a party with 10+ people, you will probably want to double the recipe. If you try this, be sure to let me know what you think!
