Hello, Fall. I’ve missed you!

Happy FALL!

I am happy to officially be in my favorite season, but I have been so distracted lately I haven’t had the chance to stop and enjoy it.
After realizing I really don’t have any appropriate shoes for cold weather, I went on a bit of a shopping spree and bought 3 pairs online last week… including this great pair of boots:
The “need” for boots was my main reason for shopping, and I’m really happy with the deal I got.
Now, my wardrobe is ready for this season!!

Fall is my favorite season for the sights, the smells, and the clothes!

I can’t wait to see the leaves change and the view from our front yard burst with color along the ridge across the fields. It’s going to be absolutely beautiful!!
I’m ready to plug in my Scentsy warmers and fill our house with yummy smells of pumpkin, coffee, and baked goods.
I’ve already planned to host a party in October so I can stock up with plenty of fall and winter scents!
Sweaters, leggings, boots, and jeans are staples of my fall wardrobe.
Since we lost everything with the fire, I am seizing the opportunity to go shopping for a whole new wardrobe. With house building and my design business taking up all of my free time, I’m looking forward to planning a trip to the outlets ASAP.

Tomorrow, we’re taking a trip to the corn maze and hopefully later in the day I’ll be able to snag some fall décor. I haven’t bought a single decorating item for my favorite season!

When we’re in the house, I’ll get back into creating some decorations like these I did last year:
I love this wreath, and I also love this picture of it,
with the reflection of our neighborhood in the background.

These block letters were really fun – and simple – to make!

Bring on the boot weather!!

I am a Mom and self-employed Interior Designer. I own a small design studio & home decor shop in downtown Emporium, PA. It’s a small town in the PA Wilds of north-central Pennsylvania. We have some of the most beautiful scenery, and Fall (my favorite season) is breathtaking. I blog for fun to keep my friends and clients informed of what's going on in the design and decorating world, to share my designs, and to show what we're working on in our own home.
