Photography – Creative Day 1

I love photography.  I have for years.
It’s not something “new” for me, exactly.  It’s something that I just haven’t done very much of.  I bought my hubby this fantastic camera for Christmas last year, and we haven’t used it nearly as much as we should.  When we use it, we usually get some phenomenal shots!

My creative goal today was to take pictures from a unique perspective of things that we look at all the time.  I tend to take for granted the beauty around me, and I don’t want to do that anymore!
I hope this challenges you to look at things a little differently. Take time to enjoy the view!

From Our Home…

My husband bought me this clock.
It’s amazing how well he understands my taste!
Wouldn’t this make a cool canvas!

I fell in love with this chandelier at Lowe’s when we first bought this house.
My parents bought it as a Christmas gift for me that year.
I still love it

Downtown Lewistown…

I can’t tell you how often I drive around downtown.  It must be at least an average of once a day.  I’ll admit, there are things that I have never seen before.  Once in a while I stop and notice something new.  More often than not, I am impressed by the beauty and history of our downtown.

The monument on the square

Painting in memorial to the Logan Guard
The First United Methodist roofline
The Lutheran church’s spire
Today was fun.  I didn’t step too far out of my comfort zone, but it was nice to get behind the camera and view things from a different angle.
Now it’s your turn! Think Creatively!

Happy Designing! -Cherie
